Giving Back

At Allbyn, success isn’t measured solely by placements - it’s about the impact we make along the way.

We donate a portion of our net fees to charities that matter to us and our community. We’ve also taken active steps to reduce our environmental footprint, including becoming a certified carbon-neutral company.

Partnering with Allbyn means supporting better hiring and better outcomes for the world around us.

Check out some of the fantastic organisations that have already benefited from our commitment below.

Our first act of giving back.

We wanted our first donation to go to an organisation that changes lives, so we chose Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We’re proud to have contributed £10,000 to support the vital care they provide to seriously ill children and their families. It’s a small part of a much bigger commitment to giving back, and just the beginning of the impact we hope to make.

DONATE

Backing the next generation.

We’re proud to support our local girls’ football team with new kits that reflect their talent and team spirit.

For us, it’s more than sponsorship – it's promoting equality and helping young people confidently pursue what they love.

Seeing them play with pride is the real win.

Supporting those who support others.

We’re proud to back East Anglian Air Ambulance, a vital service that provides life-saving care across our community.

Their work makes a real difference, and supporting them is one small way to give back to the people and places that matter to us.

DONATE

A cause close to home.

We’ve donated to Brain Tumour Research to support their work in finding a cure for one of the most challenging and underfunded forms of cancer.

This cause matters deeply to us, and we’re proud to contribute to the fight for better treatment, more research, and hope for those affected.

Opening up opportunities through education.

We were honoured to help fund a school trip to the battlefields of France and Belgium, giving underprivileged students the chance to learn beyond the classroom.

Supporting their journey and education was a small way to invest in something more significant.

Building something that lasts.

In October 2022, we commissioned the first-ever school in Kwidoken, Liberia — a project we’re incredibly proud to have supported.

Alongside the build, we helped fund teacher training, set up a school management committee, and provided essential classroom resources — all to support long-term, quality education for children in the community.

More than a number  - 1,320 children back in school.

Through our partnership with Street Child of Cameroon, we helped support the ‘Back-to-School’ initiative in one of the world’s most underreported crises. The original goal was to enrol 1,000 children in North-West and South-West Cameroon, but thanks to the team's dedication, that number reached 1,320.

All were internally displaced or out-of-school children between the ages of 5 and 13, over half of whom were girls. Each received essential study materials, including books, uniforms, shoes, and stationery, along with fee support and advocacy that helped remove financial barriers to learning.

As part of the initiative, 100 adolescent girls also received dignity kits to support their well-being, ensuring the programme met the highest standards for education in emergencies.

We’re proud to have played a small part in this work, and even prouder every time we see the faces of the children now back in the classroom, where they belong.

Offsetting with purpose.

We chose to offset our carbon footprint by purchasing 15 tonnes of CO₂ credits through Gold Standard, supporting the rollout of improved cookstoves for schools in Uganda.

It’s a brilliant initiative that reduces emissions, lowers deforestation, improves health outcomes for children and cooks, cuts school costs, and empowers women in the community. It also contributes to nine of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

At Allbyn, our footprint is already low - we work paper-free, remotely, and with intention - but we believe in going further where possible.

Small steps add up. This one felt like the right direction.

Planting change, protecting the future.

In 2024, we partnered with Ripple Africa to support reforestation efforts in Malawi. The funding will allow the planting of 8,000 new trees and the protection of 24,000 more, resulting in an estimated offset of 800 tonnes of Co2 over a 10 year period.

This project goes beyond carbon offsetting. It supports local communities, protects biodiversity, and restores balance to deforested areas through sustainable, community-led action.

We’re proud to play a small part in this work, because environmental impact isn’t a box to tick, it’s a responsibility we take seriously.
